Shanzu Transitional Workshop for Disabled Young Women is a KGGA project started in 1992. The workshop only deals with physically challenged and hearing-impaired individuals. The workshop teaches vocational skills that encourage independence. It also helps the women artisans generate income and become self-reliant. No matter what the disability, the young women discover their potential as they learn new skills and understand that disability does not mean inability.

This is a beautiful well made apron. The material is a little thinner than canvas but it is so soft and feels nice on your skin. I like my black striped one so much I'm ordering a red striped apron today. 😍
