Believe and Create for the Future is a group of mothers living at a dump site in Guatemala City. 'Our main activity used to be collecting recyclable materials to sell them. In 2008, people from a literacy program taught us to craft with straw and wool, and later we added gemstones instead of straw. We make eco-jewelry and greeting cards, transforming recyclable materials into beauty. We've also learned to write and do math. We've been studying to get an education and be better people, and set an example to other women as well as our children. When you choose our designs, you not only get a unique piece of jewelry. You also become part of an artisan mother's dream.'
